There are, however, still those who remain free. Living beyond the mountains to the North. It is a life filled with mixed emotions. Some struggle with the thought of leaving friends and loved ones behind to be crushed under the foot of Brask oppression. While others are happy to be alive, and embrace each day.

There are some Simra who made it safely out of the city. After regrouping they attempted to retake Valin but never made it past the mountains. The Brask are to heavily fortified there, for such a small band of Simra resistance. They haven't given up on their friends and family, even though they're not sure who is alive.
